Comic Con Panel Review

HBO's hottest show these days is the sexy vampire drama True Blood. Comic Con had it's share of Fang Bangers present for the cool True Blood Panel where Anna Paquin and the rest of the True Blooders popped in to talk about the show and thank the fans. HBO also provided a sneak peak at what's coming up for the second season. Check out these cool pics and a quick recap of the panel as well as the season 2 preview clip.
Someone asked Michele Forbes (who plays Maryanne) why she took the role and she replied, "when someone offers you a part where your first scene is naked in the middle of the road with a pig, you take it."
I asked the panel what they were excited about in season 3, and Alan Ball basically said the werewolves.
A stupid questions was "will we see any half human half vampire babies" and all of the people in the audience who know twilight groaned- because true blood sticks to the vampire format... Alan Ball looked confused for a second then realized what was going on and with a look of disgust said "No." It was funny and the chick that asked the question was nearly booed as she walked back to her seat.
Another question was directed toward Chalainne Harris (the author of the Sookie Stackhouse novels) as to how much influence she had in the series and Alan Ball- she said, "We have a working relationship. He doesn't tell me how to write them, and I don't tell him how to make them."
Everyone went wild over Alexander Skaarsgard (Eric), of course.
A little Sookie and Eric action might be coming up.
Oh yeah.... Harris has a contract for 3 more books that will take her through 2014. And True Blood the drink is a soda that can be pre-ordered through HBO soon.
